Knowing when it's Wrong...
It's hard to give a friend advice about Love...especially if you've been down the road before.. been there, done that.. and failed...You know how hard it is to have your heart broken and you almost want to warn your friend...but life is funny that way - you don't learn these lessons about love unless you experience it for yourself. There is only so much you can do for a friend whose heart is breaking..or broken...just be there, with an open ear, a soft shoulder and few but comforting words.
What do you do when your mind tells you that your relationship makes sense because everybody has their problems...but your heart tells you that you want something more? Do you stick around and give it yet another shot...or do you attempt to move on in hopes that love does get better?
I think half the time, we know when love feels wrong.. when it no longer feels like love but more like obligation or comfortablility. It's the fear of being lonely, of missing out on something that could be great...but at the same time, we all know deep down in our hearts that hanging on to something that doesn't make us feel RIGHT just causes more problems in the future.
When your emotions are involved, it's so hard to think straight...so hard to see what others are pointing out to you. I've been there.. I've been in denial about a lot of things...but at one point or another, you have to start thinking about what is best for your future.
If there are things that you want...things that you need... don't feel guilty for wanting...the person who is right for you will try their best to give you what you want..in life, in love, in companionship, in family...The person who is right for you will rebuild your faith in love...so don't be afraid to let go.
