Sternberg's Love Theory
In psychology, Sternberg's theory of love states that the key to any relationship are three elements: Commitment, Intimacy and Passion.
If all three elements are readily available in your relationship, then you have something called a Consummate Love. However, there are instances where one of the elements is missing, then you don't have complete love. There are six types of love based on this triangular theory. They are:
Liking Love- consists of only intimacy
Infatuate Love - consists of only passion
Empty Love - consists of commitment
Romantic Love - consists of intimacy & passion
Companionate Love - consists of intimacy & commitment
Fatuous Love - consists of commitment & passion
So the goal is here is to find someone who is not commitment-phobic, loves to cuddle and is as passionate as a dog in heat in order to have perfect love.. :)
Where, oh where to start looking!?
